We are seeking an experienced Head of Legal and Compliance with a background in consumer finance, regulatory compliance, privacy, and data use to join and lead our growing Legal & Compliance team. As the Head of Legal and Compliance, you will advise and collaborate with our product, engineering, business, and marketing departments to build Clair’s consumer financial technologies and services. You will also sit on the executive team, leading the regulatory compliance strategy we consider to be our moat and also work closely with Clair’s Payroll and Workforce Management partners to advise on risk and product strategy.
Location: This is a hybrid position based out of New York City, you will be expected to come into the office at least three days a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays) with additional days on occasion for vendor and delivery management.
Compensation: The annual base salary for this role is $253,800.00. The base pay for this role is determined using many factors, such as education, skills and experience and is reflective of Clair Series stage and size. Base pay is only one part of Clair’s competitive total compensation package which includes equity, benefits and additional perks. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
