About The Position

The Director of Alliance Programs will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by creating and managing a strategic ecosystem of alliances with technology recommenders, CPA firms, independent software vendors (ISVs), private equity firms, and other referral partners. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and executing a comprehensive alliance strategy that generates a consistent pipeline of high-quality referral leads for the sales team.

Your Day Might Look Like

Alliance Strategy Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive alliance strategy to build mutually beneficial partnerships that align with the company’s sales and growth objectives.
  • Identify and prioritize potential alliance partners across key categories such as technology recommenders, CPA firms, ISVs, and private equity firms.

Program Design & Execution

  • Design and implement an alliance program framework, including partner tiers, benefits, and engagement models.
  • Establish clear goals, KPIs, and performance metrics for the alliance program to track its effectiveness and contribution to sales.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop co-branded campaigns, joint go-to-market strategies, and partner enablement materials.

Partner Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with alliance partners to ensure ongoing engagement and collaboration.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for alliance partners, addressing their needs and fostering trust and mutual value.

Lead Generation

  • Collaborate closely with alliance partners to identify referral opportunities, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality leads to the sales team.
  • Work with sales leadership to align alliance-driven leads with the broader sales strategy and ensure effective handoff and follow-up.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with sales, marketing, and delivery teams to ensure alignment between alliance initiatives and overall company objectives.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on the progress, challenges, and impact of alliance programs.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience (8+ years) in alliance or channel management, business development, or a similar role in a professional services or technology organization.
  • Demonstrated success in building and scaling partnership programs that deliver measurable revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of the professional services and/or technology ecosystem, with experience working with CPA firms, ISVs, private equity firms, or related partners.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with a track record of fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and alliance management platforms is a plus.
