Job description

Kavaliro is seeking a tax strategist to support a client.

Role
  • The Tax Strategist is a client-facing role focused on effectively communicating entity structuring and tax strategies to clients. This position involves communicating directly with clients to explain the recommended tax strategies for their needs, discussing entity structuring and determining their strategy company, and ensuring all interactions and documentation are handled accurately and timely. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple client interactions daily while maintaining an organized schedule.
Responsibilities
 
  • Client Communication:
    • Directly engage with clients to explain recommended tax strategies via a zoom presentation.
    • Clearly communicate tax concepts and entity structuring options.
  • Strategy Development:
    • Determine and recommend appropriate tax strategies based on client needs and company guidelines.
    • Discuss and advise on entity structuring to optimize tax outcomes.
  • Documentation Management:
    • Ensure all client interactions are accurately documented and recorded.
    • Complete and maintain call checklists and related documentation in a timely manner.
  • Schedule Management:
    • Maintain an organized schedule to manage multiple client appointments and interactions efficiently.
    • Coordinate and prioritize client meetings and follow-ups.
  • Attention to Detail:
    • Review and verify all client information and documentation for accuracy.
    • Ensure all recommendations and strategies are detailed and comply with relevant regulations.
  • Client Interaction Management:
    • Handle multiple client interactions daily with professionalism and efficiency.
    • Balance client needs and priorities while providing high-quality service.
Requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to explain companies core tax strategies and entity structuring clearly to clients.
  • Attention to detail in completing documentation and maintaining accurate records.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple client interactions and maintaining an efficient schedule.
  • Ability to handle multiple client interactions daily with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Experience in a client-facing role with a focus on tax or entity structuring.
  • Basic knowledge of tax laws and entity structuring.
  • Basic knowledge in using relevant software and tools for documentation and communication, including monday.com and g suite.
  • Ability to learn new software.
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Proficiency with email, internet, Microsoft Office, Apple OS, and Google Apps
  • Strong ability to follow directions and seek clarification when needed
  • Preferred experience in customer service and/or small business support
