Job description

Responsible for supporting the overall National Accounts: Government, (VA, DOD, DLC), Hanger, Shriners business strategy by advancing customer relationships and driving sales growth of Össur prosthetic products in key accounts including, but not limited to Government, (VA, DOD, DLC), Hanger, Shriners. Responsibilities will also include coordinating product development and product testing efforts within national accounts, management of contracts, and ensuring that all National Accounts documentation and pricing are kept up to date. Candidate will deliver sales presentations to prosthetists, physical therapists, surgeons, hospital administrators, and other medical professionals to elicit use of Össur prosthetic products to achieve sales goals. Candidate must demonstrate ability to develop and build relationships with various clinical and administrative decision makers to expand Össur’s market share within the National Accounts sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate, grow and execute National Account Strategy working with National Account Manager, RSM’s, AM’s, which includes but is not limited to modeling sales strategy with joint calls both virtually and in person.

  • Identifies, monitors and reports up key business pathways and changes, industry challenges and industry trends to be used in ongoing analysis and sales strategy for National Accounts.

  • Responsible for supporting and training Area Managers to build and own relationships with key decision makers inside National Accounts. These relationships include all prosthetic care stake-holders in the Government, Hanger and Shriner’s systems.

  • Collaborate with Ossur Clinical Specialists to drive sales and be a prosthetic sales expert as a resournce for Area Managers as part of sales initinatives.

  • Works in partnership with Ossur Contract Specialist to monitor and manage government contracts, bids, solicitations, and BPA’s.

  • Conducts training programs, based in Sales methodologies, for Prosthetic Area Mangers on selling to National Accounts.

  • Builds and maintains key relationships with mid-level management of National Account Partners.

  • Creates and implements sales tracks and strategies for Ossur based on customer needs, industry knowledge and successes.

  • Monitor and report up on individual and team sales activity and field knowledge of evolving business in National Accounts.

  • Collaborates across multiple Ossur Teams to launch, update and discontinue products into National Accounts

  • Facilitate connections between National Accounts and Ossur Stakeholders for BPA’s, AR, DLC, Returns, EDI and compliance questions and concerns.

  • Strategize, create and execute annual DLC events and follow up.

  • Utilize goal setting strategies to accomplish weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly goals.

  • Consistently maintains high level of output according to established productivity standards.

  • Makes effective use of all resources to sustain optimum performance and efficiency with a focus on growth and profitability.

  • Responds promptly to the needs of both the internal and external customer including Voicemails, E-mails, Text Messages, Teams Chat and platforms of communication.

  • Attains or exceeds quarterly and annual sales objectives and other measureable deliverables.

  • Demonstrate collaborative team work with Sales Management, Össur Academy, Customer Service and all other internal personnel.

  • Makes scheduled personalized sales presentations and call plans in collaboration with Area Managers to practitioners, other medical professionals and key decision makers.

  • Maintains up to date awareness of industry, technical, and competitive knowledge.

  • Effectively and efficiently organizes account priorities and activities.

  • Submits accurate and timely business reports to include expenses, TSM, goals and activity using SalesForce and other formats as necessary.

  • Exercises good judgment in the use of company funds to ensure business profitability.

  • Is proactive in cost containment and management of expenses.

  • Represents the Company in National/Industry Specific Trade Shows (HangerLive/DLC/Shriner’s Mgt Meeting).

  • Complies with both the spirit and letter of applicable laws and regulations.

  • Maintains a professional image and demeanor consistent with the image of Össur.

  • Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner.

  • Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of company data including new product information, marketing strategies, discount programs, pricing information and other business proprietary information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree required, preferably in a life science or engineering discipline.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Direct field sales, technical sales, and or technical support to sales preferred.

  • Experience with prosthetics or B&S preferred.

  • Demonstrated sales capabilities consistent with meeting and exceeding revenue budgets and targeted objectives.

  • Consistent high level of sales performance vs. attainment and growth, expense management, and adherence/exemplification of the company’s core values is a requirement to remain in this role.

  • Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to present to clinical, business, and mid-level clients.

  • Successfully conducted sales training to key stakeholders.

  • Strong oral and written communications skills.

  • Posess good organizational, analytical, task and time management skills

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Demonstrated competencies in the use of excel PowerPoint, and system databases.

  • Computer literacy: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

  • Demonstrate ability to learn new product knowledge and sales strategies.

  • Self-starter; ability to take initiative and seek guidance when appropriate and is coachable.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Travel:

  • Travel up to 75% nationally.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000 - $70,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
