The Program Manager will be responsible for providing leadership, coordination, and management of strategic and tactical plans. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of milestones ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. Role will report to the Director of PMO Program Management.

Key Responsibilities:
 

● Partner in strategic planning – This role will be a key partner with multiple teams to strategize the future roadmap and lay out priorities. Role will look at impacts to cross functional teams and drive prioritization.

● Stakeholder Management - Engage key stakeholders, including senior management, customers, team members, and external partners. Will establish open communication channels to ensure alignment and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

● Program Governance – This role will be responsible to manage the overall risks, status and reporting, and engagement of leadership at all levels.

● Change Management – Support activities to manage the change transition of people and process and integrate into overall project plan, Communication Plan, Training Plan and Stakeholder Engagement. Assess the impact of changes to end users and work closely with the PMO to manage.

● Team Coordination – Lead and schedule cadence of cross functional team engagement through defined priorities, providing clear direction and management.

● Continuous Improvement – Work closely with the PMO team to foster a culture of continuous improvement, soliciting feedback, conducting lessons learned sessions, and implementing best practices.

Additional Responsibilities:

● Build and maintain programs that drive strategic priorities from ideation to implementation, primarily through strong program management principles and hands-on leadership.

● Define and manage scope, and deliverables of projects with focus on business processes.

● Develop detailed analysis, plans, milestones, deliverables, and overall status updates related to program management.

● Maintain reporting and communication channels to communicate program/project health, timing, and risk/issues to executive sponsors, key stakeholders, and/or impacted groups

● Define and manage the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project. Understand the business and work directly with field staff to implement solutions.

● Develop organizational change management approach and deliverables to support the successful implementation and compliance of processes and

technology.

● Lead the communication with Leadership team on the status of strategic initiative.

● Lead other team members (either direct or indirect reports) through assignment and review of project objectives.

● Develop and communicate reporting metrics and project and/or program dashboards that provide management and business stakeholders with quantifiable gauges of the delivery of business results.

● Assess and report risks and recommend mitigation plans.

Education, Experience and Skills:

● PMP certification required.

● Bachelor’s Degree required. Graduate degree a plus.

● 7+ years of experience in project management that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position, including 3+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience.

● 5+ years of experience in creating/maintaining necessary tools, artifacts, and progress visualizations to communicate/align program sponsors, resources, key stakeholders, and Impacted groups.

● Ability to create/maintain visualizations using a BI platform (e.g. PowerBI) a plus.

● Strong knowledge and experience in working with project management tools such as Smartsheet (a plus), MS Project, etc..

● Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (Prosci a plus).

● Demonstrates strong project management leadership skills including, critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure, and meeting deadlines.

● Must have solid MS Office Skills, primarily Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

● Experience with managing vendor deliverables and expectations.

● Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

● Excellent active listening skills.

● Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend processes improvements .

● Ability to travel >50 %.

● Experience working with remote teams.

● Experience with multiple delivery methodologies (e.g., Lean, Agile/Scrum).
