What makes someone choose one company over another? Pay, benefits, training, work satisfaction, culture? What if you can have it all? At G2 Ops, we have extremely competitive pay and benefits but that is not even the best part. Our culture is what sets us apart from other companies. With us, you will not be another payroll number or a cog in the machine. We provide great value to our customers by working as a team and ensuring every member is set up for success. Our team approach allows for each member to not only provide value with their expertise but also gives them the opportunity to cross-train in other areas in which they have an interest.

Embracing AI. G2 Ops stays ahead of the competition by embracing the latest technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI). We are looking for team members who are excited to explore and implement AI solutions that can improve internal workflows and deliver superior results for our clients. Whether you are reducing manual processes or developing predictive models, we provide the tools and support to make AI an integral part of your work.

Let's talk salary. The annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $105,000 based on your qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package and have fringe benefits offered throughout the year. The benefits package value ranges from $13,000 for a single employee, and up to $28,000 for an employee and their family. With company standard annual performance reviews in place, plus excellence awards for recognition, your performance will be rewarded and appreciated, we promise!

So, you want to work from home? Let's be honest, remote work is not always all it's cut out to be. At G2 Ops, we offer a flexible schedule to meet the needs of our employees and customers. Due to the classification level of the projects we support, we are not able to offer fully remote opportunities at this time. As a Defense Contractor, we are frequently working with sensitive material, and therefore, we need to ensure where you access your work is secure. Here's the thing, we have worked very hard to create an awesome culture where our employees get to come to a collaborative, exciting office environment and we want you to join the fun!

Still not convinced? Allow us to elaborate. For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Mid to Senior Contract Administrator with 3-5 years of experience in Department of Defense (DoD) contracting to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and administering all aspects of contract activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, government regulations, and customer requirements.

We are also seeking someone who has a desire for growth within our Contracts team and wants to learn how to develop a leadership mindset.

In addition to the above description, the qualified candidate is expected to support the following essential functions as a G2 Ops Contracts Administrator:
  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements
  • Review, negotiate, execute Non-Disclosure Agreements & Teaming Agreements
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) requirements
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate contract administration
  • Administering contract changes, ensuring proper documentation, and providing support to internal teams for contract modifications
  • Ensuring proper contract closeout procedures are followed, including final invoice submission, payment collection, and record retention
  • Identifying and mitigating contractual risks, and assisting in the resolution of contractual issues
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Participating in proposal development and pricing activities as required
  • Developing and maintaining contract files and systems for tracking and reporting contract performance metrics
What does this mean to you? To be successful in the role, our desired candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field plus 3-5+ years of clearly demonstrated Department of Defense (or other federal government agency) contract administration experience. In addition, you must be self-directed, flexible and have willingness to do 'what needs to be done' in a small business environment.
Having the following desired skills is an added plus:
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements. The ideal candidate would already possess an active DoD Secret clearance or must be able to obtain one.

Quick Note: We are seeking full-time employees; the continuation of outside employment shall not constitute a conflict with the Company’s interest, including performing work for a customer or competitor.
