Job description

Your future tasks

  • We rely on your expertise when it comes to developing and maintaining internal pricing and risk models.
  • You will be responsible for creating and analyzing risk reports for both internal and external purposes and conducting quantitative risk analyses.
  • In your role, you will perform market analyses, pricing reviews and market conformity checks, providing valuable insights for our front and middle office teams.
  • You will develop and maintain price forward curves (PFCs) based on a neutral market view and integrate them into our ETRM system.
  • Daily risk reporting and monthly management reporting are also part of your responsibilities, as well as developing models for pricing new and existing products.
  • You will actively contribute to the harmonization of valuation standards and work on maintaining and improving our pricing, market, credit and liquidity risk models, and assessing model risk.
  • Additionally, you will be responsible for setting internal, neutral views on market prices and transfer pricing.


YOU AS A PERSON

  • You hold at least a master’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in pricing, modeling, and/or quant development/analysis, preferably in energy markets or within a risk management context.
  • Programming skills in Python, C#, or an equivalent OOP language; experience in commodity risk management is a plus.
  • You have fluent English skills; German is an advantage.
  • You are resident in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands or Switzerland.
  • Strong analytical skills, hands-on approach and the ability to interpret complex data and gain actionable insights.
