Requirements

We are looking for an experienced and driven Product Manager with over 3 years of experience in digital product development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Banking & Payments, particularly in Retail Banking, and a proven ability to transform roadmap items into deliverable solutions. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business, compliance, security, and development teams, to deliver optimal product solutions.



Required Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in a digital product development program.

  • Domain expertise in Banking & Payments, with a focus on Retail Banking.

Work Location:

  • Open to candidates in San Juan, Puerto Rico but candidates should be based out of the USA anywhere / Remote role

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Opportunity Discovery:

    • Conduct discovery sessions to identify development-ready solutions for upcoming roadmap items.

    • Define desirable, viable, and feasible solutions based on stakeholder and business needs.

  2. Requirement Definition:

    • Translate roadmap items into detailed epics and user stories.

    • Identify requirements, risks, assumptions, and dependencies.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders across business, legal/compliance, security, and fraud teams to ensure alignment.

  3. Solution Optimization:

    • Ensure technical and UI designs meet established requirements and assumptions.

    • Write user stories with acceptance criteria and size them in collaboration with Tech & QA teams.

  4. Development Oversight:

    • Conduct sprint planning and kick-off sessions to ensure team alignment.

    • Oversee development efforts, mitigating issues and adjusting solutions as needed.

    • Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to validate developed solutions.

  5. Cross-Product Collaboration:

    • Participate in cross-product release strategy and planning to ensure cohesive delivery.

  6. Agile Methodologies:

    • Operate within Agile frameworks to streamline product development cycles and ensure iterative improvements.



Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong understanding of digital product development processes.

    • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

    • Ability to write clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Domain Expertise:

    • In-depth knowledge of Banking & Payments, especially Retail Banking.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

    • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and drive solutions.

    • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
