Job description

Remote position in Europe or UK

The role:

Our customers are large enterprise players with unique needs, and we believe that exceptional project delivery starts with customer obsession. As a Senior Project Manager - Payments, you will take ownership of customer delivery projects, ensuring we don’t just meet expectations but exceed them. Your ability to deeply understand customer requirements, foster trust, and navigate complex organisations will be key to turning hard challenges into success stories.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a Project Manager who obsesses over customer success and thrives in complex, fast-paced environments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: 5+ years managing complex projects, preferably in payments, financial services, or fintech, with large enterprise customers.
  • Customer Obsession: Proven ability to understand customer needs, build trust, and deliver tailored solutions that drive value.
  • Ownership & Accountability: Track record of delivering projects on time and to the highest standard, while navigating technical and organisational complexities.
  • Strategic Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, align, and engage stakeholders at all levels, internally and externally.
  • Problem Solver: Comfortable tackling ambiguity, managing risks, and finding solutions that satisfy both the customer and business goals.
  • Project Management: Hands-on experience with methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools like Jira, MS Project, or Trello.
  • Results-Driven: Sharp focus on delivering measurable customer outcomes that build trust and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:

Customer-Centric Project Delivery:

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of customer projects, ensuring every step is aligned with the customer’s needs and expectations.
  • Act as the primary customer advocate, building trust and ensuring their priorities are at the forefront of every decision.
  • Develop clear and comprehensive project plans, balancing customer requirements with Enfuce’s delivery capabilities.
  • Solve challenges proactively: anticipate customer pain points, mitigate risks early, and communicate transparently.
  • Ensure regulatory and technical compliance without compromising on customer value.

Build Strong Relationships:

  • Foster genuine, trust-based partnerships with key customer stakeholders—from senior executives to project teams.
  • Actively listen and adapt to customer feedback to ensure we meet evolving needs.
  • Serve as the “voice of the customer” within Enfuce, championing their goals across internal teams.

Drive Internal Collaboration:

  • Lead cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Compliance, Operations) to deliver successful outcomes for customers.
  • Communicate project progress, milestones, and risks effectively to all stakeholders ensuring accountability and alignment.
  • Remove roadblocks and ensure teams are equipped to deliver with precision and speed.

Deliver Results with a Continuous Improvement Mindset:

  • Shorten time-to-value by streamlining processes and identifying ways to improve delivery speed and efficiency.
  • Track and measure success using customer-centric KPIs (on-time delivery, satisfaction, and outcomes).
  • Conduct retrospectives after each project, gathering customer feedback to refine Enfuce’s delivery processes further.
