Reservations Specialist Position

Sales Department

Freelance / Full time (48 hours per week )


We believe that everyone has an important part to play in delivering excellent guest satisfaction! As a Reservations Specialist you will work in collaboration with many different people within the organisation while actively communication with our providers.


To ensure success as a reservation specialist, you should exhibit in-depth knowledge of customer engagement channels and experience in a similar industry. A top-notch customer experience specialist will be someone whose expertise results in excellent customer relationship management and a positive brand image.


Responsibilities:

  • Tracking customer experiences across online and offline channels, devices, and touchpoints.
  • Collaborating with the marketing and sales teams to enhance customer services and brand awareness.
  • Identifying customer needs and taking proactive steps to maintain positive experiences.
  • Responding to customer queries in a timely and effective manner, via phone, email, social media, or chat applications.
  • Accompany guests through the full booking for short and long term requests.
  • Analyzing customer feedback on product ranges and new releases, as well as preparing reports.
  • Foster strong relationships with guests, recognize and create sales opportunities and develop repeat business.


Requirements:

  • 1-2 two years previous experience in the hospitality 
  • Solid knowledge of online customer engagement platforms and channels
  • Proficiency in GSuite, Social media platforms, Basecamp
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a client-centered approach
  • Great organizational and time management abilities
  • Superb communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent writing skills in English
  • Your career goals include working in sales and/or revenue management
  • Availability to travel to Panama periodically
