Join deskbird as a Social Media Working Student and play a pivotal role in shaping our brand's online presence. This role offers you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management while contributing to a growing SaaS startup with exciting challenges ahead.
In this role you will
Content Creation & Management:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create, curate, and optimise engaging content (text, images, videos) for our social media platforms, primarily LinkedIn.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with deskbird’s voice, tone, and brand guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends to help produce content that resonates with target audiences and reflects customer needs.
Social Media Strategy & Execution:
  • Assist in developing and executing social media strategies to increase brand visibility and audience engagement.
  • Track and analyse emerging industry trends, ensuring our social media content stays relevant and impactful.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and help cultivate a positive and interactive online community.
Analytics & Reporting:
  • Support the tracking and analysis of social media performance metrics.
  • Provide insights and actionable recommendations to enhance future social media strategies and content planning.
What you need to be successful
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in German (C1 or higher) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms, especially LinkedIn, and a passion for creating engaging content.
  • Basic proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Canva) and an eye for design aesthetics.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • A creative mindset, coupled with attention to detail and a drive to continuously learn and improve.
  • Previous experience in social media management or digital marketing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to measure and report on social media performance is a bonus.
