Job description

Position Overview

RecruitGo is looking for a Legal Assistant/Paralegal based in the Philippines who will be working with our client based in California. Our client is a law firm that provides a variety of legal services.

Aside from your established skills and expertise, we are also looking for someone who has growth mindset and willingness to learn and improve, has time management skills, efficient and focused, and strong work ethics.

Responsibilities

Prepare draft estate planning documents using WealthCounsel
Prepare legal documents using Gavel
Word process legal documents
Prepare transfer deeds and related documents
Prepare Trust Administration documents
Prepare Probate documents
Prepare meeting files, as needed
Enter notes and save scanned documents
Attend weekly meetings and Daily Huddles
Coordinate with team members

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

2 years minimum to mid-level years of experience
Excellent English speaking and writing abilities
Growth mindset and willingness to learn and improve
Work California work hours from 8 AM to 5 PM
Experience working for US law firms
Technology savvy and typing speed 50 words per minute or more
Time management skills
Efficient and focused
Strong work ethics

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience in Trusts and Estates practice (Will, Trust, Power of Attorney, etc.)
Experience working with Clio Manage
Experience drafting in WealthCounsel software
Experience in California probate process
Experience using Gavel document automation
Presents self-professionally

Salary Range: PHP 35,000 - PHP 40,000
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM California time (night shift in the Philippines)
Work Setup: Work-from-home in the Philippines
