Reporting and Working Relationships
Title of Manager: Director, Strategic Sourcing
Title of Direct Reports: May have direct reports (including exempt and non-exempt employees) dependent on the size and scope of the account.
Title of Peers: Sourcing Manager
Internal and External Contacts: Work closely with account/sales team & works with partner team leaders to provide support on escalations and/or special projects. Works with sales and growth leaders within EM on expansion business within account(s). Interfaces regularly with client contacts and third-party providers of services.
Primary Responsibilities
50% - Sourcing Manager: Act as the Sourcing Manager for all programs assigned. Responsibilities include project & experience management of assigned programs, relationship management and financial management.
50% - Account Management: Provide mentorship to EM team working on account(s) for all areas of event management across all markets and event types. Coordinates and facilitates account meetings. Identifies opportunities for ROIs. Ensures adherence to workflow process. Responsible for Client SOPs. Organizes, plans and oversees processes associated with design, development and implementation of programs and services within account base. Contributes to program/project strategy and proposal generation by assessing program requirements and participating in presentations and client meetings as requested. Manages PCA process and follow-up on Non-Approved Supplier Issues. Acts as the liaison with Proposal and Event Design or Growth Leader on new and renewal business handled by PD. Assists in development and implementation of account goals and client onboarding as needed. Represent EM on committees and projects.

Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Meeting, Events and/or Incentive Travel pre-sale and/or post-sale activities required.
2. 1-2 years of proven supervisory and/or leadership experience.
3. Global travel/hospitality industry experience
4. Strong organization, motivation, and communication skills to manage multiple teams.
5. Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; internal, client, and partner.
6. Understanding of Experience Design and ability to articulate how previous events have achieved business objectives and guest impressions is a plus.
6. Proven ability in developing cost sheets, budget maintenance and implementing costing strategies
7. Designations such as PMP (Professional Meeting Planner), CMP (Certified Meeting Planner), CIS, CITP, HMCC, DES certification desired.
8. Ability to travel 30% of time required.
