- Annual Salary Range: VPS 4 $92,332 - $104,762

About the Opportunity
The Content Specialist is responsible for creating and managing high-quality online content to support VicRoads' strategic goals. Working in the Marketing division, the role involves delivering engaging content across digital platforms, social media, and email, while maintaining brand consistency. The specialist will enhance audience engagement, raise awareness, and support campaigns, product launches, and initiatives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is key to aligning content strategies with organizational objectives and ensuring effective communication with target audiences.
About you
The skills and experience required in the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- 5+ years of experience in creating, writing, editing and managing high-quality online content across multiple channels, including digital platforms, social email, email and websites.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to create content that enhances the end-to end customer experience.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and an understanding of SEO best practices to optimise content.
- Experience managing social media accounts and fostering community engagement to build brand awareness and audience connections.
- Proven experience in planning, creating and deploying email campaigns using email deployment tools or marketing automation tools, managing contact rules to ensure compliance and optimal audience engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
