Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Commercial Operations Specialist is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for maintaining the Salesforce CPQ configuration, pricing and quotation tool for use by Solution Architects, service delivery, finance and commercial. The individual will have strong analytics skills and experience supporting products and general functions. The work effort will involve configuration, problem solving, training and supporting field personnel in the use of the Salesforce CPQ system and providing feedback to improve the use of the system.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Costing and pricing configuration for Managed Services, regional and country services on Salesforce CPQ.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, product management, commercial and finance to maintain accurate product configuration, pricing and quotation data within Salesforce CPQ in accordance with Group Commercial guidelines.
  • Maintain Advanced Approval business approval rules and workflow.
  • Create and maintain Conga Composer quote, proposal and SOW templates.
  • Receive, verify, and process data for accuracy, completeness, and conformance with established procedures.
  • Continuously monitor data quality and integrity.
  • Recognize data discrepancies and seek corrective solutions.
  • Provide Level 1, 2, and 3 support for CPQ in coordination with I&T.
  • Track licenses and access to Commercial supported applications.


Knowledge and Attributes:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ Configuration in Product Bundles, Options Constraints, Price Rules, Product Rules and other CPQ features.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Administrative tasks like creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Reports, Dashboards, and validation rules.
  • Revenue Cloud Salesforce administration experience including, workflow rules, sharing rules, FLOWS, Advanced Approvals.
  • Experience in data management tools such as Data Loader, Import/Export Wizard and change sets.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of the saleforce.com platform
  • 5 years experience in Salesforce technology operations preferred.
  • Business Analyst, Data Quality, Training and Project Management skills.
  • Solid understanding of the IT services industry.
  • Advanced problem-solving abilities to address client issues and find solutions that meet their needs.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and Power Automate.


Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study (Finance, I&T, Commerce).
  • Relevant certifications preferred.


Required Experience:

  • Advanced experience gained in Salesforce Revenue Force, specifically Salesforce CPQ.
  • Experience gained in a similar role, preferably within a global IT services organization.
  • Experience with operations, order processing, fulfilment, revenue recognition, legal contracts, purchase orders or license agreements.
