Who We Are

Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC), one of the nation’s leading conservation organizations, is a passionate community of people who believe that nature is the foundation of strong communities, a prosperous economy and a sustainable future that supports the hopes and dreams of the next generation. Together, we conserve and restore some of the most valuable and threatened landscapes on the planet.

Our organization is looking for a highly skilled Salesforce Administrator to join our focused, high-performing digital marketing team which has been paving the way in digital transformation. We are looking for a collaborative, forward-thinking team member who’s ready to take on technical challenges, bringing their innovative mindset, technical expertise, and collaborative spirit to this vital role. If you are a dynamic problem-solver with a passion for innovation, technology, and making a real impact, this role may be for you.

What You Will Do

Reporting to the Manager of Database Marketing and Analytics, the Salesforce Administrator will play a pivotal role in optimizing, enhancing, and supporting DUC’s Salesforce instance. You’ll be hands-on with day-to-day administration, leading development efforts, and providing critical support for end-users across the organization. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll help ensure seamless integration and data flow between systems, while continuously identifying and implementing cutting-edge solutions that support our conservation mission.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Technical Administration & Development: Configure, optimize, and maintain Salesforce with a focus on declarative solutions (like Flows, validation rules, and automations) to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Project Management & Collaboration: Lead Salesforce development requests, act as a key bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, and partner with software architects to maintain and improve system integrations.
  • Training & Documentation: Develop and deliver training resources and documentation for Salesforce users at all levels, ensuring they have the knowledge and support they need to succeed.
  • Release Management & Strategic Planning: Stay ahead of the curve by leading the testing and review of Salesforce release previews and communicating key updates to DUC stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Business, or a related field. A Masters is considered an asset.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification is required, with Advanced Admin or other specialty certifications considered an asset.
  • A minimum of 3 years of Salesforce experience (NPSP experience is considered a strong asset).
  • Preference may be given to candidates with experience in data-driven or technical roles beyond Salesforce.
  • Advanced knowledge of declarative Salesforce features (Flows, formulas, validation rules)
  • Experience working with tools like data loaders, automation platforms (like Apsona), and third-party apps.
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize competing demands, and solve complex technical challenges with creativity and precision.
  • Exceptional communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor across the organization.

What’s in It for You?

Joining Ducks Unlimited Canada’s digital marketing team means becoming part of a tight-knit, fast-paced, and innovative environment. Our team is known for being one of the most agile, tech-savvy, and pioneering groups at DUC. You'll have the chance to:

  • Be Part of a Transformative Team: Work alongside a collaborative and supportive crew that’s driving digital transformation at DUC.
  • Make a Meaningful Impact: Use your technical skills to support a cause that’s making a real difference in wetland conservation and environmental protection.
  • Grow & Innovate: Stay on the cutting edge of Salesforce advancements, explore new technologies, and contribute to groundbreaking projects

What We Offer

  • 3 weeks’ vacation with paid personal and sick days (prorated based on start date)
  • Comprehensive compensation & benefits package
  • Remote work arrangement
