Job description

We are looking for a talented Finance Manager to join our team and drive financial strategies that support our growth and success in the gaming industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting and Compliance:
    • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and expense management/reimbursement.
    • Maintain strategies to optimise working capital and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
    • Ensure payroll providers in each territory we operate provide accurate payroll data and the salaries are transferred correctly and on-time.
    • Ensure compliance with tax laws, regulatory requirements, and reporting standards.
    • Relationship management with financial institutions such as tax officials, banks, insurance companies and financial investors
    • Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and on the maintainence of accurate financial records.
    • Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
    • Regularly review policies and procedures to minimize financial risks.
    • Manage accounting for all daughter companies and establishments.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Develop and oversee financial budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans in conjunction with the CEO.
    • Provide detailed financial analysis and reports to support strategic decision-making.
    • Prepare accurate and timely financial status reports for stakeholders and investors.
  • Strategic Contribution:
    • Monitor and control expenses against budgeted targets.
    • Collaborate with department heads to understand spending patterns and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
    • Support funding initiatives, including grants, investors, or other financial opportunities (IE Business Finland)
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Partner with HR to manage employee compensation and benefits structures.
    • Act as the financial liaison across departments to ensure transparency and alignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification like CPA/CFA preferred).
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in finance management, preferably in the tech, gaming, or creative industries.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Procountor, QuickBooks, Xero, Zevoy) and financial modeling/spreadsheet tools (Excel, Googlesheets)
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Passion for gaming or experience working in the gaming industry is preferred but not required.
