Location: Remote (Work-From-Home)

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a Business Development Director to play a key role in expanding their business and advancing their mission. This senior-level position will focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with healthcare facilities and organizations, and driving revenue growth in the rural and remote healthcare staffing market. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and motivated leader who shares their passion for healthcare staffing and business development and aligns with the company's core values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Business Development:
    Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and identify new opportunities to expand into underserved healthcare markets across rural and remote regions of the United States.
    Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at healthcare facilities, government agencies, and other potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    Establish and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare providers, facilities, and industry stakeholders.
    Act as the primary point of contact for major clients, ensuring effective communication, client satisfaction, and the successful placement of healthcare providers in remote areas.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth:
    Lead efforts to grow the client base and meet or exceed sales targets.
    Negotiate contracts and service agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms and a compelling value proposition.
  • Team Collaboration:
    Work closely with internal teams, including recruitment, operations, and marketing, to ensure alignment on business goals and to deliver a seamless client experience.
    Contribute to company-wide initiatives and discussions that drive overall growth.
  • Market Research and Trend Analysis:
    Stay informed on industry trends, market demands, and the competitive landscape to guide business strategy.
    Conduct research on prospective clients, understanding their unique staffing challenges and aligning the client’s solutions with their needs.
  • Reporting and Performance Tracking:
    Provide regular updates to senior leadership on business development progress, sales pipeline, and market expansion efforts.
    Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure continued success.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    At least 5 years of business development experience, ideally within the healthcare staffing or healthcare services industry.
    A proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships, driving new business, and achieving revenue growth.
  • Education:
    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level decision-makers.
    Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
    Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and general sales/marketing platforms.
    Experience in healthcare staffing, especially within remote or rural markets, is a plus.
  • Self-Starter:
    Ability to work independently in a remote work environment, with strong self-discipline and excellent time management.
    A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations.

Remote (Work-From-Home) Requirements:

  • Ability to work normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8AM – 5PM Pacific or Mountain Standard Time).
  • A dedicated, quiet, and private home office space free from distractions during work hours.
  • High-speed internet to support video calls, communications, and other work requirements.
  • Ability to manage a busy schedule without direct supervision.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary plus additional compensation opportunities, including quarterly profit sharing.
  • Benefits Package: Health insurance, a competitive PTO plan, retirement plan with a 4% match, a paid day off for your birthday, and annual in-person retreats.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Salary: $80,000 plus commission
