Job description

Start Date: 23.01.2025

Location: Remote (no maximum hourly rate; higher rates may require more justification)

Project Overview

Our client is running a program to transform its purchasing function with digital technologies. The “N4T Databased Backbone (N4T DBB)” initiative aims to improve data management by integrating ~50 internal and external data sources into the existing Data Platform (HDP).

  • Data Integration: Consulting on connecting internal/external data sources to the HDP platform and enabling seamless data flow for N4T applications.
  • Data Governance: Ensuring compliance, data ownership documentation, and maintaining high data quality through automated processes.
  • Data Preparation: Modeling and provisioning integrated data to support N4T use cases, including developing, testing, and applying analytical logic.

Skills

  • Experience: 3-5+ years in data integration, governance, and preparation.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Azure Databricks, Python, PySpark, Azure DevOps, SQL, API development, and data architecture.
  • Agile Workflows: Proven experience in backlog refinement, estimation, and project planning.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to align with cross-functional teams (e.g., purchasing, project teams).
  • IT Security: Knowledge of IT security requirements and standards.
  • Innovation: Expertise in automation, building modern data products/pipelines, and validating analytical processes.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English
