As a Customer Service Representative in the healthcare sector, your mission is to provide empathetic and efficient assistance to patients and insurance members. By addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, you’ll contribute to a seamless and stress-free healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

Customer Interaction: Assist patients and members with inquiries related to healthcare services, insurance coverage, and claims through phone, email, or chat.

Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve issues related to billing, claims, or coverage while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Compliance: Adhere strictly to HIPAA and other regulatory requirements to protect sensitive information.

CRM Management: Accurately log all interactions in CRM tools, maintaining detailed and organized records.

Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal teams to resolve complex cases.

Education: Guide customers in understanding their healthcare options, benefits, and next steps with patience and clarity.

Qualifications

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in healthcare or insurance customer service roles.

HIPAA Knowledge: Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

CRM Proficiency: Skilled in using tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Zendesk, or equivalent systems to manage customer interactions.

Patience: A calm and empathetic approach to handling sensitive issues and ensuring positive customer experiences.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and provide effective solutions.

Language Skills: Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
