Role: The IT Project Coordinator reports to the CPO (Chief Product Officer) and works closely with all Equisoft product teams. The candidate will be responsible for facilitating the planning, the execution and the completion of the projects. They will work closely with project managers, team members as well as stakeholders to align projects with organizational goals, coordinate project activities, monitor progress and facilitate communication between team members.
Your Day with Equisoft:
- Prepare reports and support Product Manager presentations by providing data from timesheets, accounting systems and consulting with product leaders.
- Participate in the development of project plans, schedules and milestones and collaborate with project leaders to allocate resources and create project schedules.
- Identify potential risks and issues and collaborate with the project team to select the appropriate risk strategy and develop response plans.
- Conduct regular reviews of project progress to identify and communicate any discrepancies.
- Support the product team by monitoring various internal productivity improvement projects.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Respond to stakeholders' concerns and ensure that their expectations are effectively managed.
- Plan and coordinate weekly product team meetings, ensuring agendas are clear and participants are prepared for their presentations.
- Organize and conduct regular project meetings to review progress, identify issues and inform.
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports and meeting minutes.
Requirements:
Technical
- Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering or information Technology or College Diploma or to a relevant field
- 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- Experience of JIRA and its use in project management
- Excellent knowledge of Excel
- Experience in financial budget analysis
- Experience in programming and activity planning
- Experience in cost analysis, control and reporting
- Good knowledge of Web environment and technologies
- Knowledge of Agile methodology
- Experience in the financial services or insurance industries (asset)
- Excellent knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
