100% Remote - Must reside in the Continental US full time

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading Brandt Information Services’ talent acquisition efforts, overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process for all of Brandt. This role includes identifying staffing needs, managing candidate selection, implementing recruitment best practices, onboarding new employees, and providing compensation benchmarking guidance to ensure competitive offers. This position reports to the CHRO.


`The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive talent recruitment program focused on attracting top-tier technical professionals, particularly in software development. With a strong understanding of market trends and proven expertise in sourcing and recruiting for technical roles, this individual will craft effective strategies to identify, engage, and secure high-caliber candidates. They will ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process while facilitating smooth onboarding transitions to support organizational success and growth. This role will initially focus on the key responsibilities noted as Primary below.


Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition (Primary):

  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle, including job posting, sourcing, and attracting qualified candidates through various channels (e.g., job boards, social media, recruitment agencies). Recruitment will primarily focus on software and support professionals, but at times will involve oversight of contact center (call-center) recruitment.
  • Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to develop comprehensive job descriptions that attract high-caliber candidates and align with the company’s goals.
  • Proactively source and build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through various channels to ensure the company can quickly fill both immediate and future talent needs.
  • Track and report recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate pipeline progress.

Interviewing and Selection (Primary):

  • Draft and refine the selection process to ensure a streamlined, consistent and effective approach for all roles.
  • Collaborate with hiring teams to ensure candidates are evaluated for both technical skills and cultural fit.
  • Assist in the vetting and selection of the appropriate screening tools/assessments to assist with candidate selection.
  • Screen applicants and oversee interview scheduling and coordination, working closely with hiring managers.
  • Provide training to hiring managers on interview best practices and effective candidate evaluation techniques.

Onboarding Administration (Secondary):

  • Oversee the onboarding process by implementing a structured 30-60-90-day plan to ensure a seamless transition, foster an exceptional new hire experience, and support full integration into the team and company culture
  • Conduct orientation sessions to familiarize new employees with company policies, values, and culture.
  • Ensure new employees receive all necessary resources and support for their integration into the team and the organization.
  • Gather feedback on the onboarding process and continuously seek improvements for a better employee experience.

Compensation Benchmarking (Secondary):

  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and industry compensation data, particularly in the software industry and other relevant sectors.
  • Provide recommendations on competitive compensation packages during the hiring process, ensuring offers are aligned with market benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to maintain competitive compensation strategies while ensuring alignment with the company’s budget and compensation philosophy.



Qualifications& Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition. Priority given to candidates with talent acquisition experience in software development roles. Experience with seasonal part-time hiring preferred and/or contact center personnel preferred but not required.
  • Proven track record of managing the entire recruitment cycle, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Strong understanding of compensation trends, particularly within the software industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform hiring decisions and process improvements.
  • Knowledge of relevant recruitment tools and platforms, as well as experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)


Location:

This position is full-time remote. The standard work hours for this position will follow Eastern Standard Time.
