Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with program evaluation frameworks, design, and methodology
Experience with qualitative (e.g., surveys) and quantitative data collection, data analysis (using software like Excel, or SPSS), and reporting
Experience collaborating within a team setting and with a variety of stakeholders
Experience presenting data and findings clearly to different audiences

Job Description:

The Mid-America Prevention Technology Transfer Center (PTTC) at the Partnerships in Prevention Science Institute, located within the College of Health and Human Sciences, is seeking applications for a Data Analyst I.  In this role, you will help collect and manage program evaluation data, working closely with the PTTC Evaluation Team to analyze and report on project-related outcomes.  This position offers a great opportunity in assisting in program evaluation, while making a meaningful contribution to public health and prevention science. 

This is a term appointment with annual renewal contingent on contract/grant funding.

Level Guidelines
• Individual contributor position with developing professional and/or technical skills working under immediate to general supervision
• Grasps professional-level knowledge and concepts of field while working in a progressive learning mode
• Works on problems and issues of somewhat limited scope
• Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data for which answers are available or can be obtained
• Responds to inquiries and issues, escalating to manager or higher level workers as appropriate
• May lead projects of limited scope and complexity
• May provide guidance to students
