Job Description:
The Mid-America Prevention Technology Transfer Center (PTTC) at the Partnerships in Prevention Science Institute within the College of Health and Human Sciences, is seeking applications for a Communications Specialist II. In this role, you will lead the creation, management, and dissemination of digital content to enhance the visibility and impact of PTTC’s training and technical assistance programs.
This position involves managing social media platforms, coordinating email campaigns, producing multimedia materials, and overseeing the PTTC’s digital presence, including website updates. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital communication strategies, proficiency with content management systems and media software, and a passion for engaging diverse audiences in the field of public health and prevention science. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to regional and national efforts in substance misuse prevention while collaborating with a dynamic and mission-driven team.
This is a term appointment with annual renewal contingent on contract/grant funding.
