Job description

Contract (1099) Recruiter for staff appraisers.

Candidate must have a demonstrated history of recruiting field residential appraisers to be considered.

Class Valuation is a leading technology-enabled appraisal management and valuation solutions provider, dedicated to delivering innovative and efficient solutions to the real estate industry. We are currently seeking a Contract Recruiter to support our staff appraiser recruiting efforts.

Role Overview:

As a Contract Recruiter at Class Valuation, you will play a critical role in sourcing, screening, and building candidate pipelines for our staff appraiser positions. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and the Talent Services team to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process. Your efforts will contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities

Essential Tasks:

  • Source and outreach potential candidates for current and future openings (pipeline).
  • Cold calling.
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates.
  • Schedule and coordinate in-person and virtual interviews.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Utilize the Applicant Tracking System to manage candidate profiles, schedule interviews, and maintain job postings.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and candidate profiles.
  • Extend verbal offers of employment and send written offer letters.
  • Monitor and track recruiting metrics.
  • Coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain a solid pipeline of qualified candidates for future roles.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Regularly communicate recruitment updates to talent services team, management and team leads.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Essential Requirements:

  • Industry experience.
  • History of recruiting field appraisers.
  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist or similar role.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and job posting platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact professionally with various stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with online job platforms such as ZipRecruiter and Indeed.
  • Knowledge of sourcing techniques using social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Glassdoor.
  • Team-oriented mentality and ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
