Sales Executive

Location:                            Remote (UK)

What you should expect from the role

As our Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in growing the business through identifying new business opportunities as well as upselling to the existing client base.  This is an exciting opportunity to pioneer a new sales role within our team, with the potential for significant growth and the chance to shape the future of our sales efforts.

You will be responsible for bringing new clients on board and securing a strong sales pipeline, working collaboratively with the Marketing team to create and deliver compelling sales campaigns and proactive social selling.  The ideal candidate should be a confident driven self-starter who can manage themselves to meet and exceed performance targets.

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitive landscape within the higher education sector.
  • Generate high-quality leads through various channels, including email campaigns, referrals, networking, and attending industry conferences or events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering and marketing to align sales efforts with company initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for creative and mutually beneficial collaboration with both the education sector and non-education sector partners


Requirements
What we need from you
  • You have a proven track record of successful 360 sales experience from prospecting to closing.
  • Ideally knowledge of education and apprenticeships (vocational education) industry, including key players, funding mechanisms, challenges, and trends.
  • Used to working autonomously and motivated to grow and thrive in a dynamic start-up environment
  • You are an excellent communicator and can effectively adapt based on differing audiences.
  • You can negotiate well and have a strong track record of closing deals, managing contracts and consistently meeting sales targets
  • Self-motivated and driven to succeed, with a passion for driving educational innovation.
  • Can work effectively on multiple tasks and priorities
