Job Summary:
Bitwerx is seeking a Sr. Technical Product Manager with a versatile and creative approach to product development. This role requires a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative individual who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments. The ideal candidate is a versatile, critical thinker with a passion for innovation and user-centric design. They must excel at balancing user needs with technical feasibility and business goals while building trust across teams and delivering impactful solutions.
In this role, you will work closely with users to identify product use cases, design workflows, define KPIs, and create detailed process and data flow diagrams. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating lo-fi wireframes for web applications, API interface specifications, and AI-driven features, ensuring a seamless and scalable user experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape cutting-edge products while collaborating with cross-functional teams to redefine possibilities in data and AI solutions.
What You'll Do
User Collaboration and Product Design:
- Work directly with users and stakeholders to identify product use cases, business needs, and pain points. Align user needs with technical feasibility and business strategy to prioritize product features and workflows.
- Define product workflows and develop process and data flow diagrams to communicate key functionality and interactions.
- Translate user insights into actionable roadmaps, product features, and requirements.
Lo-Fi Prototyping and Wireframing:
- Design lo-fi web application wireframes to visualize and communicate product concepts.
- Iterate on prototypes based on user feedback, balancing simplicity with functionality.
API and Interface Design:
- Define and document API interface specifications, ensuring ease of integration, scalability, and usability for developers.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to align API designs and technical requirements.
AI-Driven Solutions:
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and machine learning to improve product workflows, user experiences, and business outcomes.
- Partner with data experts and engineers to define and implement AI features, such as predictive analytics, machine learning models, or automation tools.
KPI and Performance Management:
- Define product KPIs and success metrics to measure the impact and effectiveness of product features. Ensure that data is available for a repeatable measurement process.
- Monitor product performance, gathering insights to drive iterative improvements.
Documentation and Communication:
- Create comprehensive documentation, including use cases, workflows, process diagrams, and API specs.
- Communicate product vision and requirements clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with engineering, design, and data teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Facilitate discussions to align priorities and ensure consistent execution across teams.
Continuous Innovation:
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI, data workflows, and product management.
- Proactively suggest and implement innovative solutions to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
Required Experience:
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject
- 6+ years overall experience in roles that combine end-to-end technical product management, user-centric design, data platforms, and AI/ML
- 3+ years of experience working directly with users and stakeholders to define workflows, create process and data flow diagrams, and design user-centric solutions.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in web application product design, creating lo-fi wireframes or prototypes for web applications using tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, Adobe XD, or Lucid.
- 3+ years of experience with API design principles, including defining specifications, creating developer-friendly documentation, and ensuring API scalability using tools like Swagger or Postman.
- 2+ years of experience with AI/ML concepts, including hands-on work with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn, and tools for data analysis such as SQL, PostgreSQL, and Databricks.
- 3+ years of experience creating detailed process and data flow diagrams using tools like Lucidchart, Visio, or similar platforms.
- 5+ years of experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business stakeholders, and translating complex technical concepts into actionable requirements, product use cases, and workflows.
- 2+ years of experience defining and tracking KPIs, product performance metrics, and success criteria.
- 3+ years of experience with agile methodologies, sprint planning, and working in tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- 3+ years of experience working with cloud environments (e.g., Azure) and contributing to technical architecture decisions and technology evaluations.
