The Role

We're looking for a skilled Web3 Frontend Engineer to join a pioneering team driving innovation in DeFi. In this role, you'll lead the development of high-performance, user-friendly features using React, TypeScript, and Next.js, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. With a strong focus on code quality, testing, and optimization, you'll play a key role in shaping one of the top decentralized lending protocols in the Web3 space.

What You'll Do

  • Own and implement frontend features from scratch or enhance existing ones using React and NestJS.
  • Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code that is easy to understand.
  • Improve app performance and resilience by implementing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Participate in code reviews, daily meetings, and collaborate closely with the product team.
  • Break down specifications into technical tasks, provide time estimates, and keep tickets updated.
  • Review specs and designs to ensure clarity and provide technical feedback to optimize implementation.
  • Share expertise with peers and support the team in designing technical feature implementations.
  • Work on special projects to enhance product functionality and performance.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years of experience in frontend development with strong skills in TypeScript, React, Next.js, GraphQL, and CSS.
  • 2+ years of experience in Web3 development, including tools like Ethers, Viem, and Wagmi.
  • Proficiency in sprint planning, ticket management, pull requests, and clear communication.
  • Experience with testing tools such as Cypress, Jest, and Hardhat; familiarity with Anvil and Mocha is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use first principles and systems thinking.
  • Good written and spoken English for effective communication.
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach and the ability to adapt to feedback.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus on achievable and realistic goals.
  • Curiosity and a passion for learning, particularly in the Web3 and DeFi space.
