SAP S/4 Upgrade Data Archiving Architect
US Citizen with active Secret or have ability to get DOD IT II Clearance
Long Term role Remote, initially 3 months to start
The SAP Data Archiving Architect will be responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of the S/4 upgrade of an existing SAP ECC archiving solution. The candidate must have extensive hands-on experience in SAP archiving processes, tools (classic and ILM), and best practices in archiving aspect of S/4 upgrade.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing expert technical guidance and support to the archiving project team to ensure successful implementation.
- Analyzing existing, customized SAP Archiving solution to determine gaps with S/4 functionality.
- Determining need for new client requirements based upon S/4 archiving changes and supporting workshops with the client.
- Designing new and modified SAP archiving objects to support S/4 upgrade, including functional specification updates and configurations.
- Working with cross-functional teams for the implementation of the upgraded archiving solution.
- Must have 10+ years of experience working with SAP ECC, 3+ years of SAP S/4HANA, 5+ years of SAP ILM
- Must have hands-on experience data archiving in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA
- Preferably experience migrating from SAP ECC data archiving solution to S/4HANA data archiving solution
