Job description

About the Role:

We’re seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. This part-time position focuses on post-production of media content showcasing various robotics demos. The ideal candidate will leverage their video editing, motion graphics, and design expertise to create polished and engaging visual content.

Responsibilities:

Edit and enhance video content for robotics demos, ensuring high-quality results.
Create and integrate motion graphics to improve storytelling and viewer engagement.
Manage video production data efficiently, ensuring organized and accessible assets.
Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and maintain consistent quality standards.

Requirements:

2–3 years of hands-on experience in video editing, including independent, corporate, film, or TV projects.
Proficiency in video editing software: Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
Knowledge of motion graphics tools: Adobe After Effects or DaVinci Fusion.
Experience with media encoding and compression tools like Adobe Media Encoder, FFmpeg, or Handbrake.
Strong organizational skills in managing video production data and assets.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Familiarity with other areas of media production, such as video/photography techniques.
Basic knowledge of software development processes, ability to create software tools for specific media tasks
Experience in 3D modeling, animation, or rendering tools (e.g., Blender or similar).
Proficiency in adjacent media editing tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
