Job description

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) is seeking Licensed Mental Health Professionals to join our team and provide telehealth services to clients through a HIPAA-compliant platform. This fully remote contract position offers incredible flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals of all ages.

Position Overview: As a telehealth provider, you will support the state’s crisis response efforts or manage a caseload of clients from DMH Community Mental Health Centers. This position offers the chance to work from home, providing you with a work-life balance while delivering crucial mental health support across Oklahoma.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality telehealth counseling and therapy to individuals of all ages via a secure HIPAA-compliant platform.
  • Support crisis response efforts or manage ongoing caseloads, offering interventions and treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Maintain regular contact with clients, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to improve their mental health and overall well-being.
  • Work independently, adjusting schedules to accommodate clients and meeting their diverse needs effectively.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Licensed Mental Health Professionals (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or similar credentials).
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients through telehealth platforms.
  • A self-motivated and independent worker who can manage caseloads and priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adapt to flexible work hours to ensure timely and effective support for clients.

Qualifications:

· Oklahoma Licensure as a Behavioral Health Professional (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC-MH)

· Master’s degree in psychology, social work, guidance and counseling, or closely related behavioral science field
