SEO Manager – Remote

The Job:  
As a SEO Manager, you’ll be part of our E-Commerce team working as a remote employee. As an SEO Manager, you’ll be part of the Partner eCommerce team, reporting into the Sr. Project & Operations Manager. You will be responsible for leading the development and execution of our SEO strategy on our eCommerce platforms, including, but not limited to, the Amazon Marketplace. This role will focus on optimizing our product content to increase organic traffic, improve search rankings, and drive online sales You’ll get to:   

  • Collaborate with Sales teams to develop and implement SEO strategies, focusing on product and category pages, to grow business on eCommerce platforms
  • Research SEO keywords to optimize for maximum search visibility and results; Conduct in-depth competitor analysis and market research to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Define and monitor KPI metrics to track the success of SEO initiatives to align with business goals
  • Analyze Organic Search traffic across several websites, identifying opportunities for landing page optimization(s)
  • Perform regular audits of content and recommend changes to website architecture, page speed and other technical factors to improve SEO performance.
  • Implement recommended SEO optimizations in Salsify, Shopify and/or Sales Force Commerce Cloud
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, such as broken links, crawl errors and site speed optimization. Work with developers to implement schema markup, mobile responsiveness, and other SEO-friendly practices.
  • Collaborate with content team to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into product descriptions, blog posts, and marketing materials.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs to monitor organic traffic, rankings, and other key metrics.
  • Pioneer new ways of working and processes to streamline and continue to build out the SEO function.
  • Generate regular reports on SEO performance and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Adjust strategies based on data analysis and evolving search engine algorithms.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required
  • 3-5 years of experience in SEO management and exceptional understanding of best practices; Experience using tools such as Amazon Vendor Central Reporting, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs preferred.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., Vendor Central).
  • Proficiency in content performance tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Well-developed analytical skills and great attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated success in problem solving with creative outcomes.
  • Ability to expand skills and take on additional responsibility in the future.
  • Assertive, organized and strong follow-through.
