We are seeking an experienced Development Manager. The Development Manager will lead and manage Wealth Enhancement's developer resources, ensuring alignment with the company’s technology vision as set by the Director of Salesforce Architecture. This role involves overseeing the development of solutions on Salesforce and Workday platforms, ensuring adherence to best practices, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for leadership review.
The salary target for this role is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 depending on experience; this role is also eligible for our corporate bonus.

Primary Job Functions
Development Work Oversight
Communicate potential code overlap risks to developers.
Provide regular project updates to technology leadership.
Stay current with technology advancements and anticipate company needs.
Ensure the implementation of agreed architecture across all products.
Create and maintain analytics reporting on development efforts.
Daily Management of Development Resources
Understand and manage the workload of development resources within product teams.
Serve as an escalation point for development resources to address complex solutions.
Anticipate technical skills needed for development and collaborate with technology leadership to address these needs.
Manage and coordinate project allocations in collaboration with the finance team.
Team Leadership and Development
Mentor and guide developers to enhance their skills and career growth.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Quality Assurance and Best Practices
Ensure all development work adheres to platform and industry best practices.
Implement and enforce coding standards and development processes.
Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a leadership role delivering software application projects.
Experience or exposure to Salesforce and Workday platforms is preferred.
Salesforce Platform Builder certification.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of developers.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
