The Opportunity
As a Continuous Improvement (CI) Expert in your region (RSS EMEA), you will ensure that the strategic value of Continuous Improvement is acknowledged, educated and applied in the organization. You will drive continuous improvement activities in a customer centric way while delivering high quality outcomes in collaboration with other stakeholders and team members of Continuous Improvement Network.
RSS CI is a global team with regional presence in Costa Rica, Budapest, Mannheim, Kaiseraugst and Kuala Lumpur. We operate in an agile organizational set-up without extensive hierarchical structure, where all our employees lead from every seat, inspirational leadership, service oriented behavior and entrepreneurial customer centric mindset are our core values.
Apply best practice operational excellence and continuous improvement methodologies and other techniques, such as Lean Six Sigma. Apply structured and disciplined methodology to identify data-driven root causes.
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, challenge existing ways of working, and support harmonization of processes across Procurement, Finance, People & Culture (P&C), and IT, and beyond.
Lead continuous improvement/optimization projects, facilitate successful implementation of new services; promote the process toward an automated environment. Support project identification through data analysis and process mining.
Partner with colleagues, peers and stakeholders globally, and work on initiatives and projects in different regions and time zones. Provide project management and delivery expertise aligned with Business Process Excellence principles.
Provide training on process excellence methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma training and agile methodologies.
Work with stakeholders to create a culture and a community of continuous improvement across RSS, including fostering idea generation. Incorporate quality culture and respective tools and templates in the daily operations
Who You Are

Education: Bachelor Degree (ideally in engineering, business administration, or science).
5+ years of Lean Six Sigma Black/Green Belt with hands-on project execution experience, ideally in an environment with transactional processes (Finance, Procurement, IT).
Familiar and comfortable with agile ways of working. Adaptable to changing environments. Track record of excellent continuous improvement mindset and behavior.
Strong communication, networking and influencing skills on senior management level, but also downwards.
Strategic and holistic mindset with the ability to manage complex topics in agile / matrix organizations. Strong team player with interpersonal skills and strong collaborative and solution-focused mindset.
Shared service sector experience is a plus. English is a must, additional language is a plus.
Ability to travel up to 15% of time.
