Senior Product Owner

Role and responsibilities, and how will the role impact our client?
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the market, competitors, and customer needs to inform product strategy and roadmap for different products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business, to define product requirements and prioritize product features.
Work closely with engineering teams, as part of the Agile squad, to ensure the product vision is aligned with technical capabilities and constraints.
Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, outlining key milestones and timelines for delivery.
Monitor product performance and user feedback to continuously improve the product and drive customer satisfaction.
Create and maintain the product backlog, including clear and consistent user stories, acceptance criteria and prioritization
Provide vision and direction to the agile development team & stakeholders
Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of pre-prepared tasks to work through
Identify problems linked to the evolution of the product
Provide conceptual and technical solutions to deliver product
Analyze the structure of a business, how it uses technology and what its goals are in order to provide appropriate advice to stakeholders and guide the Agile team
Identify problems within a business, including through using data modeling techniques
Formulate ways for businesses to improve, based on previous research
Consult internal and external stakeholders of the benefits or drawbacks of new technology or strategies
Oversee the implementation of new technology and systems
Identify and manage all blockers and document solutions
Manage and lead the product release and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
Provide an active role in identifying and mitigating impediments that impact the successful team completion of sprint goals and product release
How do you know if you are a good fit?
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in software development.
Strong technical background with knowledge in different frameworks
Familiarity with Figma is required to handle basic tasks such as modifying pages, making minor design adjustments, and exporting assets.
Prior experience in the Trading and Asset Management industry is a plus, offering valuable insights into trading workflows such as asset buying and selling, loans, interest management, and vault operations.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex software development projects.
Experienced in working within an Agile development environment, utilizing both Kanban and Scrum frameworks.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experienced in creating and executing test plans, as well as conducting regression testing in collaboration with QA teams.
Demonstrated ability to work remotely and independently with minimal supervision, ensuring productivity and accountability while effectively managing tasks and meeting deadlines in a self-directed manner.
Excellent product documentation skills, ensuring that all steps, processes, and decisions are thoroughly recorded and easily accessible for future reference and collaboration.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and executive leadership.
Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
Professional proficiency in English is required

Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and feedback
An interest in, and understanding of, project management techniques
Ability to provide project leadership to a team
