We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer or Data Engineer to join our dynamic Partner Services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web browser automation, data extraction, and transformation using Selenium, PowerShell, and Ansible. This role involves leveraging automation tools and data processing techniques to streamline workflows and enhance data management capabilities across various projects.

Work Arrangement 

  • Full-time position  
  • Remote work model  
  • Monday to Friday, 5-day work week (flexible work schedule)  
  • Eligible to reside and work in Romania 

 

Key Accountabilities 

  • Browser Automation: Design, develop, and implement automated scripts and frameworks automate web browser interactions and test web applications. 
  • Data Extraction & Transformation: Utilize PowerShell and/or other technology to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into structured formats for analysis. 
  • Infrastructure Automation: Leverage deployment software to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure, primarily within AWS. 
  • Workflow Optimization: Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. 
  • Database Management: Work with database systems like SQL Server and/or MySQL, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Technical Account Managers, developers, and service delivery specialist, to understand requirements and deliver effective automation solutions. 
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation processes, data workflows, and system configurations. 
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to automation scripts, data processing, and infrastructure configurations, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends in automation and data engineering, and propose enhancements to existing processes and tools. 

 

Qualifications and Competencies 

  • Proven experience in browser automation  
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Strong proficiency in PowerShell for scripting and automation tasks. 
  • Experience with Ansible or similar technology for infrastructure automation, particularly within AWS. 
  • Experience with data extraction and transformation processes. 
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL), including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning. 
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. 
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. 
  • Experience with additional automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Jenkins). 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices. 
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, etc. 
  • Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Datadog).
