Job description

Strongbridge is seeking an experienced Tableau Developer to join our team and provide development, maintenance, and migration support for a BI migration to Tableau. Candidates must be either a US Citizen, Permanent Resident or EAD that does not require sponsorship now or in the future AND must have lived in the US for the past three years.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Tableau data models, dashboards, and reports.
  • Design and implement reporting and visualization for data sets.
  • Write and optimize scripts and queries.
  • Responsible for analysis, design, and development and maintaining the Tableau environment.
  • Collaborate with team members on data and BI migrations.
  • Participate in visualization and data set rationalization.
  • Apply experience to all aspects of the software development lifecycle.


Required Skills:

  • At least 5 years Relevant work experience.
  • Experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau data models, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.
  • Experience with SQL, Oracle Analytics Server, rational databases, data pipelines, and rationalization.
  • Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools.
  • Developing Data Model in Tableau and publishing in Tableau server
  • Experience with Setting up sites, projects, Data models, etc. in Tableau
  • Experience creating workbook, views, story using different visualizations in Tableau
  • Experience with performance tuning of Tableau data models and workbooks on the server


Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Development of Informatica mappings, workflows
  • Experience with Development of metadata repository using OBIEE Administration tool in Physical, Business Model and Mapping, and Presentation Layer
  • Experience with Java script


Pay Range: $110k-$130k

The posted pay range reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity.
