In our new exciting role of  Enterprise Public Sector Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of expanding our Public Sector portfolio, driving growth by cultivating new prospects and promoting Meltwater's solutions to government clients and public sector organizations. Your role will be pivotal as you utilize your expertise in navigating complex government procurement processes, establishing trusted advisor relationships, and overseeing the entire sales cycle.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage the sales pipeline throughout all stages of the sales process, including pipeline creation, negotiation, closing, as well as upselling and cross-selling, ensuring efficient progression and optimal conversion rates.
  • Engage in consultative discussions with senior leadership levels and multiple decision-makers within government organizations, addressing their unique challenges and aligning Meltwater's solutions with their strategic objectives.
  • Cultivate trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders to comprehensively understand their needs, concerns, and priorities, positioning Meltwater as a strategic partner in achieving their mission-critical goals.
  • Consistently exceed quarterly sales quotas by actively engaging in diverse sales activities tailored to the public sector landscape, including outbound calls, emails, social selling, networking, and product demonstrations, to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Navigate government procurement processes effectively, leveraging Meltwater’s channel partners and understanding the intricacies of procurement regulations, compliance requirements, and budgetary constraints unique to public sector clients.
  • Showcase Meltwater's compliance certifications, data security measures, and privacy policies to assure public sector clients of our commitment to safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including product teams and customer success representatives, to tailor solutions to meet the specific needs and regulatory requirements of public sector clients, ensuring seamless implementation and ongoing support.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations, policy changes, and emerging trends within the public sector landscape, leveraging this knowledge to anticipate client needs, identify new opportunities, and position Meltwater as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the space.
  • Leverage case studies, success stories, and testimonials from other public sector clients to showcase the tangible value and impact of Meltwater's solutions, building credibility and confidence among prospective clients.
  • Proactively engage in community events, conferences, and networking opportunities within the public sector domain to build relationships, establish credibility, and position Meltwater as a leading provider of SaaS solutions tailored to the unique needs of government agencies and public sector organizations.
What You'll Bring:
  • A Bachelor's degree, accompanied by a track record of academic excellence and active involvement in extracurricular activities, demonstrating your commitment to personal and professional growth.
  • 7+ years of corporate sales experience, with a proven track record of success, preferably in the SaaS industry. At least 2 years of demonstrated success in selling to clients within the public sector, showcasing your ability to navigate the unique challenges and procurement processes inherent to government organizations.
  • Robust executive presence, coupled with influential business acumen skills and leadership abilities, enabling you to engage effectively with senior leadership levels and multiple decision-makers within the public sector landscape.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a team player mentality towards achieving ambitious goals, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and channel partners to drive sales objectives and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • High level of energy and initiative, with a proactive attitude that thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, enabling you to adapt quickly to changing priorities and capitalize on emerging opportunities within the public sector market.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including prioritization, scheduling, and time management, ensuring efficient management of sales activities and resources to maximize productivity and achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English, allowing you to articulate complex solutions and value propositions to diverse audiences, including senior government officials and procurement teams.
  • Openness to embrace our hybrid work schedule, requiring presence in the office one day per month.
  • The ability to legally work in the country of hire is required for this position.

  • Base Salary of $105,000 - $125,000 USD per year + discretionary quarterly bonus subject to the terms of the applicable bonus plan + uncapped quarterly commissions subject to the terms of the applicable commission plan.
  • Total compensation range for this position: $105,000 - $264,000 USD per year.
