Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development and Execution

    • Actively market strategic partner products and Red8 business into existing and new SLED accounts
    • Identify needed resources for supporting sales strategy and develops budget
    • Partner with engineers in preparation of technology solution that meets the customer requirements
    • Manage alignment of short-term and long-term goals and quotas with corporate objective

     

    Subject Matter Expert – SLED

    • Develop strategy for acquisition and growth of SLED accounts
    • Drive execution of team and individual strategic goals, identifying areas for improvement and change
    • Partner with Account Executives, Senior Leadership, Engineering teams to ensure on time deliverables and customer success
    • Report key metrics and on a weekly and quarterly basis to key stakeholders, providing direction and feedback for successful outcomes.
    • Plan and implement forecasts, marketing program development, relationship development, and customer satisfaction with Marketing team and partners

     

    Sales Team Management

    • Lead recruitment, development, and retention of a top team of Client Executives and Systems Engineers
    • Guide Sales team in selling products and services in the SLED sector.
    • Equip Client Executives to achieve their sales quotas and determine performance improvement plans if quotas are not met
    • Coach, mentor, and act as an educator to all Client Executives and Systems Engineers

     

    Account Management:

    • Build and maintain relationships with key SLED accounts while actively seeking to expand the customer base.
    • Conduct regular sales calls to nurture relationships, follow up on leads, and drive customer retention.
    • Address customer requests, complaints, and issues promptly by collaborating with the necessary internal departments.
    • Collect customer feedback and contribute to the continuous improvement of products and services.
Qualifications / Education:
  • 5+ years of similar experience leading a team in SLED account management
  • 8-10 years SLED sales experience
  • Moderate proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point
  • Knowledge of MSCRM system would be preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of computer/hi-tech equipment and SLED industry

    • Must be team player willing to assist others at all levels of the organization
    • Demonstrate capability to convene, lead and coordinate committees or ad hoc work groups to successfully deliver projects, solutions and processes
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and work autonomously or with a team
    • Ability to analyze the business and provide market analysis and direction to the company
    • Ability to communicate effectively on a one-on-one basis or in group setting
    • Ability to exercise strict confidentiality
