  • Job Summary:
    The HVAC Service Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales of HVAC service contracts, maintenance agreements, and related solutions to achieve revenue growth and customer satisfaction goals. This role combines sales leadership, team management, and business development with technical expertise in HVAC systems. The Service Sales Manager works closely with clients, sales teams, and service technicians to ensure seamless delivery of services and maximize customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales Leadership:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow HVAC service contracts and maintenance agreements.
    • Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the team and monitor progress.
    • Lead sales meetings, provide guidance, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed goals.

    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
    • Conduct site visits and presentations to prospective customers.
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing to align with company objectives and client expectations.

    Team Management:

    • Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives to ensure high performance.
    • Evaluate team performance through KPIs, sales metrics, and customer feedback.
    • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team culture.

    Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the assigned territory or market segment.
    • Analyze market trends, competition, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies.
    • Partner with marketing to develop campaigns and promotions to support service sales growth.

    Technical Expertise:

    • Leverage HVAC industry knowledge to provide accurate and reliable service recommendations.
    • Collaborate with service technicians to ensure the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions.
    • Stay updated on new HVAC technologies, products, and industry standards.

    Operational Collaboration:

    • Coordinate with the operations and service teams to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
    • Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.

    Reporting and Analysis:

    • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
    • Track financial performance, including revenue, profitability, and cost control measures.
    • Use CRM tools and analytics to monitor sales activities and outcomes.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the HVAC industry, including at least 2 years in a management role.
    • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, maintenance requirements, and service offerings.
    • Skills:
      • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
      • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
      • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
    • Certifications: HVAC certifications or technical training is a plus.
    • Other: Ability to travel locally as required to meet clients and support the sales team.
