What are we looking for in an ideal candidate:

We are seeking a high performing Software Engineer III to play a meaningful role in the furthering Nike Greater China’s Commerce Capabilities.

The candidate needs to have experience and an understanding of contemporary development, testing, and observability techniques and tools in a DevOps environment.
A learning mindset, excellent coding skills, and strong written and verbal communication are essential.

Scope and Responsibilities:
Your primary role on the team will be accessing well-defined problem and leads the development of a technical solution that meets the needs of the business and aligns with architectural standards.

You will also conduct ongoing analysis of organizational needs and objectives and monitors operating efficiency, implementing and/or proposing
any necessary changes to ensure effective performance of an installed system/subsystem. Leads design sessions, facilitating the integration of ideas from colleagues.

Qualifications:
  • Fluent reading/writing in English
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information sciences or related field
  • 3-8 years of programming experience in Java, Python
  • Solid understanding of the programming language, and one widely used framework like Spring, Spring Boot
  • Demonstrated delivery experience in a microservice architecture at scale
  • Deep understanding and practical application of modern build, continuous integration, and testing strategies
  • Experience working in a cloud-based environment (e.g. Amazon EC2, Ali Cloud, Azure, etc.)
