Director, Commercial Finance
Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director, Finance - Commercial FP&A to join the North America Finance organization. This role will be instrumental in driving financial planning, analysis, and decision support across Omnicell’s core business commercial operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning within a commercial environment. This position reports to the Senior Director, Finance and requires strong leadership abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Commercial Finance FP&A function for Omnicell’s core business, providing strategic financial insights and guidance to senior management and business partners.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models to support business planning and decision-making processes.
- Drive annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational plans.
- Partner with various business teams (Growth, Operations, Customer Success, etc.) to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and recommend actionable insights.
- Conduct financial analysis of pricing strategies, product profitability, and market trends to support revenue growth initiatives.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reports that summarize key financial metrics, variances, and business performance against targets.
- Lead ad-hoc financial analyses and special projects as required by senior management or board of directors.
- Establish and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to track business performance and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of financial analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in commercial finance, FP&A, or strategic finance roles, preferably within a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and scenario analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Excel and financial planning software (e.g. Hyperion, etc.)
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
