Technical Lead

Due to our expansions, we’re looking for a Tech Lead skilled in (LLM)-first approaches for new projects and component build-outs. 

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our leadership team to drive innovation and technological advancements, empowering us for the next phase of growth over the next five years.
• Lead in technology stack selection, cloud platform solutions, and 3rd-party API integrations to uphold our agency's gold standard.
• Make strategic decisions on resource allocation, risk management, and scalability to ensure project success.
• Enhance development workflows, oversee CI/CD processes, and implement best practices for a scalable team.
• Set and achieve development team KPIs, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely project delivery.
• Manage product ownership alignment and streamline communication between technical and product management teams.
• Mentor developers, promote a strong developer culture, and champion work-life balance.
• Spearhead recruitment efforts, conduct technical interviews, and support the career growth of team members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and implement IT security protocols for information privacy.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds 2+ years of Technical Lead experience and 5+ years of full-stack development expertise.
• Has experience working with healthcare services, products, or SaaS startups or corporations.
• Demonstrates a strong security background and advises on best practices.
• Thrives in managing multiple projects and has a passion for AI-powered coding.
• Is U.S.- based with experience taking products to scale.
• Embraces problem-solving, values transparency and constructive feedback.
• Excels in deadline management, adapts to changing priorities, and possesses exceptional communication skills.
• Has strong preference for using AI tools, prior agency experience, and an inclination for continuous learning.

Additional Details:

• We are a fully remote company with a global team. Flexibility with time zones and excellent communication skills are crucial.
• All new Topflight Apps team members undergo a one-month trial period to ensure smooth onboarding and alignment on expectations.
• This opportunity is only available to US-based candidates or individuals based in the PST time zone.
• This is a fractional opportunity with an initial part-time workload that could potentially transition to a full-time role. The salary range posted is based on part-time hours (20 hours per week).

Annual Salary:

Up to $80,000
