PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the voice of the client with IT and other relevant departments / teams
- Serves as a subject matter expert in the relevant product domains
- Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies.
- Responsible for collecting, documenting, and confirming business requirements and functional specifications
- Liaise between the business, IT and other relevant departments / teams soliciting and communicating user requirements
- Work closely with product management in order to create product features for the assigned product portfolio.
- Help asses value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
- Works with other Product Owners to ensure dependencies are prioritized appropriately across teams.
- Work closely with QA team to review test plans and associated test case scenarios
- Participate in JAD sessions to ensure product requirements address client needs
- Develop product artifacts including but not limited to Business Requirements, Workflow Diagrams, Functional and System requirements,
- Provide input to help files and training material development
- Inspects, accepts, or rejects completed work from the sprint.
- Works with IT Development Manager to prioritize continuous improvement, pay down of technical debt, and manage defect resolution
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Health Sciences or Computer Information Systems
- Well-versed in software development life cycles. Experience in Agile framework is an asset
- Knowledge of biologics, specialty drugs or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare messaging standards such as HL7, XML, FHIR, X12
- 3-5 years of experience in the healthcare sector, preferably in patient support programs

- Excellent proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
- Advanced ability to investigate, learn and understand new systems and software
