Job Title: Senior Software Quality Analyst

About Us: Accruent is a global company with multiple software products. This role will be focused on the development of Accruent's RedEye product which handles Engineering Data Management with a cloud-based solution.
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Quality Analyst to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, preferably with expertise in the Robot Framework, and will be passionate about mentoring and sharing knowledge with other QA team members. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing solutions to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software products.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the Robot Framework or other automation tools as required.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
Share knowledge and best practices in test automation with other members of the QA team, providing mentorship and guidance.
Continuously enhance the existing automation framework to improve efficiency and scalability.
Perform code reviews for automation scripts to maintain high quality and adherence to standards.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Participate in release planning and provide input on testing timelines and requirements.
Stay updated on the latest testing tools and techniques, recommending improvements to the QA process.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on test automation.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with AI developer tools such as CoPilot or similar.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with performance testing tools and techniques.
Familiarity with testing cloud-based applications and services.
Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
Experience working in a DevOps environment.
