The Platform Engineering function focuses on rebuilding platforms to be automated, scalable, reliable, and cost-effective, ensuring systems are well-designed, implemented, and maintained with high security standards.


They also manage and safeguard external services across platform environments. The SRE & Operations team delivers Tribal’s products via public cloud (AWS or Azure) as SaaS services, ensuring ongoing service delivery and site reliability. With cloud customers in EMEA and APAC, the team expects significant growth as on-premise customers migrate to the cloud.

The role is based remote with the requirement to travel to our Quezon City office 2 - 3 times per month. Please also note that this role falls under Tribals Out of Hours Working policy and therefore hours outside of the norm will be required.


The Role


The role of the Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is to develop procedures and tools to help design, build, and run large-scale systems scalably, reliably, and efficiently. This will involve responding to customer incidents and requests, and implementing tools or procedures that improve the reliability of systems in production. Some responsibilities will include:


  • Making sure our production systems are operating with high standards in regard to availability, expectancy and scalability.
  • Supporting the deployment of production environments.
  • When required, code supporting tools and utilities.
  • Monitoring our production environment through log analysis and concise reporting.
  • Where possible, delivering proactive & preventative customer support activities


The Person


You will need to demonstrate a good working knowledge of RemedyForce / ServiceNow, monitoring tools such as DataDog, logic monitor as well as a good understanding of infrastructure environments – AWS.

An understanding of Database (RDS) would be beneficial.
