We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Research Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic research team. This individual will play a key role in supporting the successful execution of research studies by overseeing regulatory submissions, coordinating study activities, and providing administrative and operational support.

The key responsibilities of this position include preparing and submitting Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications, revisions, and amendments, as well as maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory guidelines and ensure adherence to compliance standards.  This role will oversee and maintain the lab calendar to coordinate study timelines and milestones, support conflict of interest and disclosure reporting for study personnel, and assist in the preparation and submission of abstracts, manuscripts, and track publications.  This position will assist with grant application processes, including preparation of required documents and tracking submission deadlines and ensuring timely completion of grant related tasks. The Research Compliance Specialist will also provide general support for study operations and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth execution of study protocols and objectives.

Qualifications:

Required:       

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., health sciences, research administration, or similar).

Desired:          

Experience with IRB submissions and regulatory processes preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with research databases or software is a plus. Prior experience in clinical or academic research settings is desirable. Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.

Additional Information:

The pay range for this job profile is $24.52-$32.21/hour. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
