About the rol

eYou will lead and mentor a small team of integration developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment while promoting and implementing integration best practices. This includes creating and maintaining technical documentation, an integration catalogue, and robust error handling mechanisms. You'll be collaborating with regional integration teams to ensure consistent implementation across the organization as part of a Centre of Excellence framework. Having a development responsibilities involving designing, developing, and maintaining integrations using the Talend integration platform, implementing monitoring processes, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of integration workflows. You will also manage platform upgrades and maintain a patching schedule for optimal performance and security. Strategically, working with the Data and Integrations Manager to implement an overarching integration strategy aligned with organisational goals and participate in the technical design authority to ensure alignment with architectural standards. Additionally, you'll engage with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective integration solutions and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Collaboration with regional teams is key, as you partner with them to align on best practices and facilitate knowledge sharing and standardisation of integration processes across regions

Who we are looking f

or:We're looking for someone with a high level of experience in integration development, focusing on Talend, you'll have proven expertise in ETL processes, data transformation, and integration workflows. You should possess a strong understanding of integration patterns, strategies, and best practices, and have experience leading and mentoring a team of developers. Your technical skills include strong proficiency in Talend (preferably Talend Data Integration or similar), knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server), and programming languages such as Java. You should be familiar with APIs (REST/SOAP) and middleware technologies, and have a solid understanding of monitoring, error-handling, and performance optimisation in integration contexts. Additionally, You will have experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and knowledge of data governance and security best practices related to integrations. Your soft skills should include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a te
