About the Role


About the Role

As a Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance Consultant at delaware, you’ll be involved in providing application support, troubleshooting and resolving issues within targeted SLAs to a wide range of customers. You will also deliver changes as requested by the customer to maintain and enhance their environments.

Your main focus will be to act as point of contact to analyze and fix application and system issues, ensuring the customer’s Microsoft services are available and reliable to meet their business expectation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent support to Delaware’s FSCM customers, primarily focussing on Finance issues
  • Responsible for delivering small/medium changes to existing clients
  • Responding to requests and incidents within agreed SLAs
  • Contribute to the formal change management process.
  • Perform routine checks on customer environments and report any potential issues or opportunities
  • A commitment to continuous personal development and completion of relevant certifications
  • Represent the business professionally and positively at all times.
  • Carry out additional, reasonable duties as may be required from time to time.


Skills and Experience (Required):

  • Strong D365 Finance application knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of the follow areas include some of the below
  • General ledger
  • Purchase ledger
  • Sales ledger
  • Experience working in a customer focussed environment
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English Language)
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a keen desire to deliver high quality solutions to customers.


Skills and Experience (Desired):

  • Microsoft Certifications in FSCM
  • Experience of working in a support desk environment
  • Knowledge of the follow areas:

Expense management

Project Management Accounting

Procurement and sourcing

Human resources

Fixed assets

Credit and collections

Workflows

Financial reporter / management reporter

Electronic reporter

BDM reporter

  • Experience of working in a support desk environment
  • Proven ability to deliver small changes and optimisations
  • Able to prove or willingness to take responsibility for Customer incidents, lead weekly meetings, agree priorities and initial point of escalation
  • Working with offshore teams would be an advantage
