Senior QA Automation Engineer

What you will do:

• Collaborate with development, and architecture teams to ensure quality in all phases of software development and deployment

• Create, maintain, and execute automated testing frameworks across multiple platforms and environments

• Transform manual test cases into robust automated tests, building a sustainable and scalable testing architecture

• Examine and optimize software performance by leveraging automation to identify issues, provide insights, and ensure the quality of the system

• Work successfully in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapting to rapidly evolving technology and business requirements

• Train and mentor other QA Engineers on automation principles and best practices

• Advocate for test automation within the team and the wider organization, influencing software development practices and maximizing efficiency and effectiveness

  What we expect from you:

• 8+ years of experience in automation testing, including experience with Selenium, Appium, or similar tools

• Strong coding skills in Python, Javascript, or other languages commonly used in automated testing

• Deep understanding of different types of testing - Unit, Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing

• Experience in working with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools

• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured

• Proven experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing, including mobile devices Experience in test data management and result analysis

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban and their application in QA processes

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, code management, and release management

• Excellent and clear written and verbal communication, able to articulate complex technical issues effectively
